Three Kings Parade, BarcelonaYa vienen los reyes, por el arenal… (here come the Kings, across the sand…). Tonight the Three Kings will reach children’s homes, and what will dazzle them is not so much the presents they find as the magical atmosphere it all creates.

In Barcelona you can go to several parades: there are more than twenty in the city. The historic and most important one is the one at the port, where the Kings arrive by sea on the schooner ‘Santa Eulalia’ and set off on their route at 18:30 from Passeig Colom, at the exit of Parc de la Ciutadella.

This is the route of the Three Kings’ parade, which you can follow live. The Kings’ procession will go along Avinguda del Marquès de l’Argentera and then continue along Passeig d’Isabel II, Via Laietana, Plaça Urquinaona, Fontanella, Plaça Catalunya, Pelai, Plaça Universitat, Sepúlveda, Avinguda del Paral·lel, Plaça Espanya, Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina and Avinguda de Rius i Taulet.

One of this year’s new features is that the parade’s music will be synchronised with the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc.

There will be two more floats than last year, among them the coal float, which strikes fear into any children who haven’t been good.

Various troupes will liven up the parade with dancing and singing, while the Three Kings throw sweets to everyone who comes to see them.

Enjoy the parade!
