The shortest night of the year is almost here, and with it comes a very interesting idea for those of us who don’t have time to go shopping during the week: The Shopping Night Barcelona. This time the event, which started out on Passeig de Gràcia, moves to the stretch of Diagonal between Carrer de Joan Güell and Carrer d’Entença, hence its name: Intenz Diagonal (although someone will have to explain the ‘z’ to me).

On 20 June, from Illa Diagonal to Pedralbes Center, loads of shops will stay open until 2am. Restaurants and other venues will also open their doors with a few surprises. Discounts, drinks, massages, prize draws and a few shows will liven up the shopping and, of course, the night.
