Hermès pop-up store | Barcelona

Last Friday the Hermès pop-up store opened in Passatge dels Camps Elisis, and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised.

It’s a really fun experience, in an open-plan space full of colour. Hermès ‘carrés’ stand out everywhere, against white walls with black-outlined drawings depicting spaces where you can live out little experiences: the stable, the dressing table, the toy chest, the theatre, the portrait gallery… every space is incredible, and the scarves decorating them make them even more so!

If you go, don’t miss the photo booth, where you can have your picture taken at a drawn dressing table, the photo spot with some little carousel horses, the pinball machine, the magic trick, the boxing gloves… You can also choose the colours of your favourite scarf and have it printed, relax in a hammock or on a beanbag, and see the new collection of bow ties for women, which launches at the end of the month. Another highlight is the laundry, where anyone who wants to can dye their old Hermès scarves and give them a fresh look.

And finally, don’t leave without a hand fan with your initial, which they make for you on the spot!

And if you fancy it, in a dreamy little garden opposite the space, you can sit down for an ice cream in whichever flavour you like best while they make you an origami bow tie with the scarf you printed earlier tucked inside.

We’d encourage you to pop in and discover this world of Hermès ‘carrés’, full of energy and colour. They really are fantastic.
