Pub in BarcelonaThe Philharmonic is a pub in the centre of Barcelona that has now reached the grand old age of 12. Opened in 1998, it’s reminiscent of a classic wood-panelled British pub, where you can enjoy live jazz on Fridays and Saturdays, good food, a range of beers and other activities they run during the week, such as an English language exchange on Mondays or the Quiz on Thursdays at 22:30. The quiz is a game that costs no more than €1 to take part in, and the whole pub competes in teams of 4 to 6, racking their brains to answer Trivial Pursuit-style questions.
