On one of Gràcia’s busier streets, though on a rather forlorn stretch of it, there’s a very cosy restaurant tucked away that’s ideal for dinner for two: Estel de Gràcia restaurant.

Its speciality is traditional tapas made with a signature touch, using fresh, quality ingredients.

Some of the dishes they suggested to us were:

  • Spicy guacamole with rocket
  • Apple, caramelised onion and goat’s cheese salad
  • Mushroom and foie gras croquettes
  • Baby squid in their own ink
  • Duck magret montaditos (little open sandwiches) with a nut reduction sauce

Good for going as a couple or with other couples.

All in all, it’s a very cosy place, with pleasant décor and calm music.

They looked after us very well and the value for money is fair. We’ll probably be back.
