Calling all runners who’ll be in Barcelona on 21 June: the first night race in the city of Barcelona is here!

It’s the ‘Barcelona Desigual Night Run’, a race that runs the whole length of the Passeig Marítim to the athletics track at the Mar Bella sports complex, and back the same way to the starting point, on Passeig Mare Nostrum opposite the W hotel.

5,000 runners will take on a total of 8km, with the moon for company and the Mediterranean as a backdrop. And if you’re not a runner but you like photography, or simply enjoy a light show, every participant will be carrying a light that will help add colour to the race.
