Barcelona Hotel Terraces Week
Summer is on its way (although you wouldn’t think so with the weather we’ve been having these last few days) and with the sun and the heat… the Setmana de les Terrasses dels Hotels de Barcelona (Barcelona Hotel Terraces Week) is back! From 1 to 8 June we’ll be able to discover new bird’s-eye views of the city.
Fifty-two hotels are taking part in the initiative, opening their terraces to the public and offering a range of activities such as music, magic, workshops…
In the meantime, while we wait for it to come round, here’s a list of terraces with views over Barcelona where you can enjoy the city with a drink in your hand.
- Hotel Casa Fuster: you can see from Tibidabo all the way to the sea, with Passeig de Gràcia at your feet.
- Hotel Majestic: the sea, Montjuïc, Passeig de Gràcia and the Sagrada Família, plus sunshine. What more could we want?
- Hotel Condes de Barcelona: a view straight down Passeig de Gràcia with La Pedrera in the background.
- Hotel Claris: here we can enjoy the rooftops of the Eixample.
- Hotel Bagués: a more sheltered view over the Ramblas, from which you can see the bell towers of Barcelona’s Gothic churches rising above the rooftops. A small, romantic terrace for a toast at sunset.
- Hotel 1898: Tibidabo as a backdrop on one side and the sea on the other.
- Hotel Ohla Barcelona: views over Via Laietana at rooftop level.
- Grand Hotel Central: from the Sky Bar you can see the Torre Agbar, the Mapfre towers and Santa Maria del Mar as if they were a scale model.
- B Hotel Barcelona: next to Las Arenas, the B Hotel offers views of Plaça d’Espanya and Montjuïc.
- Hotel Silken Diagonal: right by Plaça de les Glòries, it gives us a close-up of the Torre Agbar.
- Hotel Melià Barcelona Sky, formerly Hotel Me, has the Dos Cielos terrace, where you can enjoy a Michelin-starred meal.
- Hotel La Florida: it’s up on Tibidabo mountain, so the whole of Barcelona lies at our feet.
Here are some other, more alternative views of Barcelona, just as incredible or even better! 😉
