Jordi Machí's ‘Conte de xocolata’ and ‘Textures’ exhibition

The Choc Shop at Pedralbes Centre presents the exhibition ‘Cuento de chocolate’ (Chocolate Tale) and ‘Texturas’ (Textures) by the artist Jordi Machí, next Friday 25 October at 19:00, together with a free tasting of chocolate products.

Jordi Machí is an artist born in Algemesí (Valencia) who trained at art schools in Spain, Italy (Venice) and Brazil. He has exhibited his work in Italy, in Brussels and, more recently, in Lebanon, where he enjoys wide recognition.

Another side of his artistic work is drawing storyboards for films such as ‘Presentimientos’ by Santiago Tabernero, starring Eduardo Noriega and Marta Etura, which has just premiered at the Valladolid International Film Festival.

For this exhibition at Pedralbes Centre he is bringing a collection of 3D works inspired by chocolate: pieces made with different techniques and materials, from oil on canvas to materials such as polystyrene or plastic, used to achieve the three dimensions. They can be seen until 16 November.
