If you like crafts, Barcelona has loads of different workshops to keep you busy during the week or at weekends. This time I’ll tell you about a mosaic workshop, Mosaico Camaleón. It’s a small mosaic shop in Gràcia that runs workshops where you can learn how to make mosaics or work on your own project.

The workshop I did lasted 3 hours, and we made a small piece of about 20 x 20 cm with a mirror (they let us choose whether we wanted a mirror or not, and we all decided to go with the mirror; it seemed more practical).

Mosaic workshopThere are several courses, but in this one, the super-express version, they taught us how to cut the pieces, lay them out and stick them down. My indecisive nature (I was born that way) and my lack of skill turned my bit of mosaic into a visual atrocity. When I get the images working, I’ll post a photo of my mosaic so you can see just how gifted I am.
